Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced during a cabinet meeting last night the entry into the third phase of the war on Gaza, expanding the ground invasion of the territory, according to "Russia Today." Netanyahu's office published a statement via the "X" platform, stating: "We are in the midst of war, and we have set a clear goal for ourselves, which is to destroy the military and administrative capabilities of Hamas, and we are doing this systematically." The statement added: "The first phase is complete, the second phase of airstrikes is still ongoing, and it is time to enter the third phase by expanding the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip. Our army is doing this with strong, carefully considered steps and is making systematic progress." The war on Gaza has reached its 25th day, with the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on the territory exceeding 8,000, over 20,000 injured, in addition to about 2,000 missing under the rubble.
