Israeli army forces stormed the Old City of Nablus this morning, Sunday, from several directions, amidst armed clashes with Palestinian militants. During this time, intense confrontations occurred between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian gunmen in the vicinity of the Qisariyya neighborhood in Nablus, with reports of several young people being injured. The Red Crescent stated, "We transported a case of gas inhalation to the national hospital," noting that "no other injuries have been reported to them, while ambulances are stationed around the besieged area in Nablus." The Ministry of Health announced "one injury from live ammunition in the extremities, who arrived at Rafidia Government Hospital in Nablus due to the Israeli aggression on the city this morning." Local sources reported that the forces besieged the house of the family of Adham Mabrouka Al-Shishani in the Old City. Israeli forces spread near the Al-Zaher Al-Masri School in Ras Al-Ain in the city, where it was announced that school activities in the vicinity of the Old City have been postponed. According to the Prisoners' Club, two young men were arrested during the storming operation and were transferred to an unknown location. Israeli channel "Kan" reported that "the detainees in Nablus are members of the cell that carried out the Hawara operation a month and a half ago, which resulted in injuries to Israeli soldiers." Earlier, a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip went into effect on Sunday night, ending a round of mutual bombardment lasting 5 days, in which 34 Palestinians and one Israeli were killed. Palestinian and Egyptian sources confirmed that Israel and the armed Palestinian factions reached an agreement to cease fire starting from 19:00 GMT, under the auspices of Cairo.
