Lebanon has added a third medal in the Asian Taekwondo Championship organized by the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation until Sunday, September 17, under the patronage of the Commander of the Lebanese Army, Major General Joseph Aoun, and under the supervision of the Asian Federation at the Nihad Nwfel Stadium in Dhour El Choueir. Player Antoine Nawal won a bronze medal in the youth category (12-14 years) on the sixth day of the championship. He received congratulations from the President of the Lebanese Federation, Dr. Habib Zreifa, who is closely following the championship. Previously, Lebanon won a silver medal through player Karil Ibrahim and a bronze medal through player Edmond Hashim in the same age category on the fifth day of the championship, which features participation from 39 countries from the largest continent in the world. The "Poomsae" competition will take place on Saturday, and the "Para" competition on Sunday. It is noteworthy that the national teams’ director, Grand Master Ralph Harb, and national coach, Grand Master Eli Elia, are overseeing the Lebanese team. Additionally, the "Beirut Open" in its fifth edition will kick off on Monday, September 11, at the same venue and will continue until Wednesday, September 13.
