Iran and Saudi Arabia's Deputy Foreign Ministers Meet in Beijing

The Deputy Foreign Ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia emphasized the need to stop attacks on Gaza and provide immediate assistance during the first meeting of the Iranian-Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee held yesterday, Friday, in Beijing. According to the "Tasnim" news agency, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Baqeri met with Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji on the sidelines of the meeting. The two sides highlighted the importance of "ending the Israeli entity's attacks on Gaza as soon as possible and the necessity of providing immediate assistance to the Palestinian people." They also reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation over the past nine months, welcomed continued high-level consultations on issues of mutual concern, and affirmed an increase in bilateral interactions.
