Russia to America: Don't Teach Us Lessons on Our Relationship with North Korea

The Russian Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, stated that "the criticism from the United States regarding the summit between President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is hypocrisy, as it spreads chaos and sends weapons to its allies around the world." He emphasized in a statement that "the United States has no right to preach to us on how to live," pointing out that "the U.S. has formed a coalition in Asia and expanded military exercises near the Korean Peninsula while supplying Ukraine with billions of dollars in weapons." Antonov added: "It's time for Washington to throw its economic sanctions in the trash, as the continuation of the unilateral dominance favored by American officials is no longer possible." For the United States and its allies, the close friendship between Kim and Putin is a cause for concern, with Washington accusing North Korea of supplying weapons to Russia, although there is no clarity regarding the delivery of any shipments.
