Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro affirmed today, Sunday, that Venezuelan citizens took to the streets to express their condemnation of the "aggression and genocide" being perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people. Maduro shared footage from the demonstrations occurring in the streets of Venezuela, stating: "The Venezuelan people have taken to the streets, the daughters and sons of this Bolivarian land, strongly rejecting the aggression and genocide of the Arab Palestinian people at the hands of the Israeli government, enough of the slaughter." He confirmed Latin America's clear stance calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and emphasized in his weekly program "More with Maduro" that "the concern of millions of people and dozens of governments regarding the situation in Gaza is legitimate."
