Arsenal returned to winning ways in spectacular fashion with a resounding 5-0 victory today, Saturday, over their London rivals Crystal Palace, moving up one spot to third place in the Premier League. Substitute Gabriel Martinelli confirmed Arsenal's dominance with two nearly identical goals in stoppage time. Gabriel scored with a header from a corner, and Dean Henderson inadvertently netted an own goal after another excellent play from Gabriel, allowing manager Mikel Arteta’s team to control the first half. With Palace's lackluster performance, Leandro Trossard extended the lead about an hour into the game.
