Title: Israel Increases Number of Accused Employees at UNRWA to 190

Reuters reported today, according to the site "Ainab Baladi," that the Israeli intelligence file prompting a series of countries to suspend funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) over allegations involving agency employees in the events of October 7 includes 190 employees. According to the agency, the employees are implicated in kidnapping and killing operations during the events that occurred in Gaza border settlements. The file, which Reuters reviewed, consists of six pages and includes the names of teachers whom Israel claims have become fighters in “Hamas” and “Islamic Jihad,” along with names and photographs of 11 individuals among them. For his part, UN spokesperson Stefan Dujarric stated that the United Nations has not received a copy of this file. The file indicates that one of the 11 mentioned individuals is a school guide who assisted his son in the kidnapping of a woman during the “Hamas” infiltration that resulted in the deaths of around 1,200 Israelis and the kidnapping of about 250 others.
