French President Emmanuel Macron indicated today, Tuesday, that "the time has come for Ukraine's allies to intensify their efforts," emphasizing that this moment does not allow for cowardice. In a speech before members of the French community in Prague, Macron stated, "We are certainly approaching a moment in Europe where it is appropriate not to be cowardly." He pointed out, referring to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, that "France and the Czech Republic are fully aware that war has returned to our territories in Europe, and that some powers, which have become increasingly difficult to stop, pose a growing risk of attacking us day by day. Therefore, we must rise to the level of the history and courage this situation requires." Macron faced negative reactions from many Western allies after he publicly discussed the idea of sending troops from Western countries to Ukraine at a conference held in Paris on February 26.
