The Minister of Justice in the caretaker government, Henry Khoury, received the Lebanese Ambassador to Algeria, Mohamed Saad, in his office at the ministry this afternoon. They discussed ways to activate and enhance bilateral relations between Lebanon and Algeria. After the meeting, Minister Khoury indicated that the discussion touched upon "the significant preparations made by the State of Algeria to assist Lebanon in all areas," expressing hope that "matters will progress for the better, especially after the Algerian airline started operating flights between the two countries at a rate of two flights per week." The Minister of Justice also confirmed that "there are several judicial agreements currently under study between the two countries, awaiting completion of their study in preparation for signing by both sides."
