The shipping company "Orient Overseas Container Line" (OOCL) announced today (Sunday) the immediate suspension of shipping Israeli goods of all types and to all destinations, whether for export or import. The company, based in Hong Kong and having worked with Israel for 25 years, stated in a release: "For operational reasons, OOCL will cease to accept and deliver goods to and from Israel immediately and until further notice." This announcement comes in light of threats from the Houthis to prevent all ships heading to Israel through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, which is controlled by Yemen.
