An security source revealed on Monday that more than 10 officers and personnel from the Ministry of Interior have been arrested on charges of "receiving bribes and abuse of power." The source told "Baghdad Today" that several officers and personnel from the Ministry of Interior, working at security checkpoints in Kirkuk province, were apprehended. It was noted that a force from the Ministry of Interior's Directorate of Affairs arrested them based on judicial orders issued against more than 10 personnel, including officers, on charges of receiving bribes and abuse of power, according to articles 160 (bribery) and 331 (abuse of power).
