The Gathering of General Administration Employees has announced the extension of the strike suspension until March 15. In a statement, it confirmed that "its main demand is the preparation of a fair and equitable salary scale, along with correcting health and social benefits, family allowances, and end-of-service benefits." It clarified that "there must be fairness, justice, and equality among public administrations, and before that, there has to be justice among all segments of the public sector, especially those with similar conditions." The gathering mentioned that "the current increases and the anticipated persistence do not meet the aspirations and hopes of the employees, but they could somewhat alleviate their suffering if the persistence decision is issued fairly in terms of value and conditions."
