The State of Qatar has strongly condemned "the Israeli bombing of the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of patients and wounded individuals." This was viewed as an extension of "the occupation's approach of targeting hospitals, schools, and civilian gatherings in the region, and a blatant violation of international laws and agreements, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention." The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated, in a statement today, "Qatar's call for the formation of an international committee to investigate the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians in Gaza, and demanded that the international community take urgent action to deter Israel from committing further massacres and to provide the necessary protection for more than two thousand displaced individuals sheltering in the hospital alongside hundreds of patients and medical staff." The ministry expressed "Qatar's full solidarity with the Republic of Indonesia in all the political and legal steps it takes to address this brutal crime."
