Sharjah Government Sets Yield on Sustainable Bonds Worth $750 Million

A banking document revealed today, Wednesday, that the Sharjah Government is expected to raise $750 million from the sale of its 12-year non-secured sustainable bonds denominated in U.S. dollars. The document indicated that the yield on the bonds was set at 195 basis points above U.S. Treasury bonds, which is lower than the initial indicative price released earlier today at 235 basis points, following demand that exceeded $4 billion.
