The General Command of Fujairah Police in the UAE has completed all necessary arrangements to launch the Ramadan Iftar cannon, which will be fired daily from Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah to inform fasting individuals of their Iftar time during the holy month of Ramadan. Additionally, a mobile cannon will be shared in various areas across Fujairah during Ramadan, as is customary each year during this holy month.
These efforts by the Fujairah Police are aimed at reviving this historical heritage, which is one of the distinctive symbols associated with the holy month, as it brings joy, happiness, and reassurance to people's hearts.
The Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi, mentioned that reviving such a rich heritage and broadcasting it live on Fujairah Channel contributes to bringing happiness and joy to the community's hearts.
