U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel today, Friday, for a meeting that is expected to be tense with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip. Blinken, coming from Cairo as the final stop on his sixth tour of the Middle East, is expected to emphasize the urgent need to increase humanitarian aid entering the devastated enclave and to urge Israel to refrain from invading the densely populated Rafah near the closed border with Egypt.
