Team from Mossad in Qatar to Discuss Resumption of Ceasefire in Gaza

An informed source indicated today, Saturday, that "a team from the Israeli Mossad is present in Doha to discuss the resumption of the ceasefire in Gaza with Qatari mediators." The source told Reuters: "Mossad's talks mediated by Qatar focus on the possibility of releasing new categories of Israeli hostages and new ceasefire criteria." For its part, Israel announced that it "called back a Mossad team from Qatar, which is hosting indirect negotiations with Hamas, and accused the Palestinian movement of violating the hostage release agreement that could have prevented the resumption of war in the Gaza Strip." The Israeli government's statement mentioned that Hamas "did not fulfill its part of the agreement, which involves the release of all children and women (hostages), according to a list provided to Hamas and agreed upon."
