Establishment: Russia Invited Palestinian Factions to Meet in Moscow

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh stated today, Sunday, that Russia has invited Palestinian factions to meet in Moscow on February 26. He added that the Palestinian Authority is prepared to engage with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, he said, "Russia has invited all Palestinian factions to meet on the 26th of this month in Moscow. We will see if Hamas is ready to come down to the ground with us." He noted, "We are ready to engage. If Hamas is not prepared, that is a different story. We need Palestinian unity." He further mentioned that for Hamas to be part of this unity, they must meet certain preconditions.
