The Swedish Parliament has begun taking measures after the newspaper "Aftonbladet" revealed earlier this year that traces of cocaine were found in the restrooms of several parliamentary offices. Nicklas Öström, the head of security for the Swedish Parliament, stated to Swedish radio: "We are now looking ahead and conducting activities to raise awareness on these matters alongside party offices." Following this incident, the Parliament's security department decided to implement procedures focused on training managers in parliamentary and administrative offices on responsibly handling workplace environment requirements. Additionally, "they will be better informed about the Parliament's visitor procedures and how to interact with them." Regarding the impact these measures will have on the issue, Öström added: "We are working to raise awareness and knowledge about important issues so that we can better prevent similar incidents from occurring again."
