Egyptian artist Hany Shaker thanked everyone who contributed to resolving his issue after the scam he encountered during his recent concert in Bahrain. He specifically expressed his gratitude to Bahraini Minister of Tourism Fatima Al-Sairafi, the Bahrain Tourism Authority, and the Egyptian ambassador to Bahrain, appreciating their support until he recovered his rights and legal actions were taken against the contractor involved.
Shaker indicated that the contractor does not represent himself and is not a Bahraini citizen. He wrote a comment on a photo taken before his departure from Bahrain on Instagram: "Before leaving the beloved Kingdom of Bahrain, I would like to thank the Bahraini people for their warm welcome and the evident love in their eyes, from our arrival until our departure."
He added: "I would also like to thank Her Excellency Minister of Tourism Ms. Fatima Al-Sairafi for her concern and for giving the necessary directions to the responsible authorities. Special thanks to the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority for their swift action and for taking all necessary measures and guarantees to ensure my rights from the complained contractor, who failed to comply with the terms of the contract."
The Egyptian artist concluded his message: "I was also honored by a visit from him and members of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority at the hotel before I left for the airport, expressing their love and appreciation for me and Egyptian art, and their wishes for a future artistic meeting in Bahrain."
