The U.S. Department of Defense, the Pentagon, revealed today, Monday, that "Secretary Lloyd Austin still plans to meet with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in Washington." Pentagon spokesperson Major General Pat Ryder stated that "the meeting, scheduled to take place at the Pentagon tomorrow Tuesday, will cover a range of topics including the release of hostages held by Hamas and the need to deliver more humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians in Gaza."
