Kyiv's military administration reported that Russia launched several waves of drone attacks on the city early Sunday for the second night in a row, escalating its attacks on the Ukrainian capital after a several-week hiatus. Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv military administration, stated on the Telegram app that "enemy drones were launched in multiple groups and attacked Kyiv in waves from various directions, while continuously changing their trajectory." He added, "For this reason, air raid warnings were issued several times in the capital." According to preliminary information, Popko noted that Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted nearly 10 Iranian-made Shahed drones over Kyiv and its suburbs. He mentioned that there were no initial reports of "significant damage" or casualties. Reuters was unable to independently verify this information, and there was no immediate comment from Russia.
