Sberbank Launches New Releases of Its Android App

The Russian bank "Sberbank" announced the launch of new updates for the "Sberbank Online" app designed for Android devices, urging users to download these updates. The bank's press service stated: "The new app updates can be downloaded from the Russian app store RuStore or from our institution's website. In the coming days, features of the app version launched in 2022 will be defined, and users are also advised to update the app version released in 2023." The Russian institution "Sber," responsible for "Sberbank," also announced in January the launch of a new version of the Sberbank Online app for devices running iOS, mentioning that the version can be downloaded from the App Store. As a result of international sanctions previously imposed on the Russian institution "Sber" and Sberbank, many of their applications were removed from the App Store and Google Play stores in 2022, and the institution strived to launch various alternatives to ensure electronic payment services for its users.
