Reports published by the "Daily Beast" revealed that a flight attendant on board the private plane of Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin called her relatives to inform them that the flight was delayed due to some "strange" repairs. Kristina Rasbopova was among the ten people who died when the plane crashed in the Tver region of Russia. A family member of the 39-year-old attendant stated that Rasbopova mentioned that the Embraer aircraft had been taken away for some kind of "incomprehensible" service or repairs before the flight. However, another source cited by the channel emphasized that the plane was under constant surveillance, making it impossible for anyone to "plant" anything on board. Russian investigators are now focusing on the theory that the plane was brought down by bombs on board, according to multiple reports. A Russian media report from the Bazа channel, which is allegedly linked to Russian security services, indicated that Rasbopova is the sister of a Russian official in the town of Yamangulinsk, not far from the Russia-Kazakhstan border. There is conflicting information regarding Rasbopova's birthplace, but many reports state she grew up in Moscow and had spent the past few years living in Saint Petersburg, although the Russian site 74.RU mentioned she was born in Kazakhstan. In an initial assessment by U.S. intelligence, there is a likelihood of deliberate bombing behind the crash of the Wagner leader's plane.
