The Canadian minister stated in a statement: "Canada also announces a ban on the export of certain goods to Russia that can be used in arms production." She pointed out that the ban includes explosive materials, including detonators, used in mining and construction industries. The ban also covers 20 specially controlled goods, which according to Ottawa, are allegedly used in Russia for making weapons. The list has not been disclosed.
