Israeli Channel 13 reported under the title "Exchange Deal / Critical Moments" that "Hamas is demanding the release of 950 prisoners in the first phase in exchange for 35 Israeli civilians and five female soldiers, along with a partial withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip and the return of displaced persons from the south to the north." It added: "Every Israeli civilian is matched by 20 Palestinian prisoners, and every female soldier is matched by 50 Palestinian prisoners."
