A White House official revealed that "National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan plans to meet with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant today, Monday, to discuss hostage negotiations, humanitarian aid, and civilian protection in Rafah." He explained that "the meeting is separate from another upcoming meeting between senior officials from the United States and Israel to discuss Israel's plan regarding Rafah."
