Statement from the Egyptian Army Regarding the Downing of Drones in the Red Sea

A military spokesperson in Egypt affirmed that the Air Force and Air Defense Forces are intensifying efforts to secure Egyptian airspace in all strategic directions of the state. The spokesperson stated that "an analysis and collection of information revealed that two unmanned aerial vehicles were heading from the south of the Red Sea to the north." He mentioned that "one of them was targeted outside Egyptian airspace in the Gulf of Aqaba, resulting in some debris falling in an uninhabited area near Nuweiba, while the other fell in Taba." He continued, "The Air Force and Air Defense Forces are currently intensifying efforts to secure Egyptian airspace in all strategic directions of the state."
