Intense Gunfire in Tripoli: What is Happening?

This evening, Tuesday, the city of Tripoli is witnessing heavy gunfire following news of the deaths of three local residents as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a rapid car they were traveling in to the south. The victims are Abu Bakr Awad, Khaldoun Minawy, and Sheikh Said Danawi. It is noted that Abu Bakr Awad is the assistant imam at the Al-Taqwa Mosque in the city.

The Hamas movement in Lebanon announced this evening the death of resistance leader Khalil Al-Kharraz, who fell along with three others when an Israeli drone targeted a civilian car on a secondary road between the areas of Al-Shaytiyah and Al-Qaliliyah in the Tyre district.

Tripoli erupted in sorrow and anger, with heavy gunfire reported following the information about the martyrdom of Abu Bakr Awad, the assistant imam at Al-Taqwa Mosque, as well as Khaldoun Minawy and Sheikh Said Danawi after the Israeli attack on the vehicle they were in southern Lebanon.
