Tehran has denied its involvement in the stabbing of Pouria Zaragati, a host of the opposition "Iran International" channel, in London. Mehdi Hosseini Matin, the charge d'affaires at the Iranian embassy in London, wrote on his page on the platform "X": "It is strange and raises questions to accuse Iran publicly three hours after the incident, before any official police report was released, and without any evidence." He affirmed that "his country is not involved in the incident." The British counter-terrorism police began investigating the stabbing incident of the aforementioned Iranian journalist outside his home in London yesterday, Saturday.
