The National News Agency reported an explosion of three "Patriot" missiles over the Marjeyoun plain. Additionally, it was reported that a shell fired by the Israeli army landed in Wadi Al-Khyam in southern Lebanon. Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adrei stated on his account on the "X" platform that "a short while ago, an interception missile was launched in the northern area after detection in the country's skies, which upon investigation turned out not to be a hostile air object; the interception was false."

UNIFIL's general headquarters in the eastern sector canceled the military parade scheduled for this week at "Miguel de Cervantes" headquarters in Abl es-Saqi - Marjeyoun, in honor of the efforts of the United Nations peacekeeping force, due to the security situation in the area.

UNIFIL's commander in southern Lebanon, General Aroldo Latharo, stated in a statement that "despite the alarming events of the past few days, the situation in the UNIFIL operational area remains stable, albeit volatile. Fortunately, the exchange of fire between Lebanese territory and Israel has not escalated into conflict." He added, "Our peacekeepers remain in their positions and continue their tasks. We have increased patrols and other activities to maintain stability, coordinating this work with the Lebanese armed forces."

Latharo pointed out, "We actively worked with authorities on both sides of the Blue Line to calm the situation and avoid misunderstandings. Peacekeepers continue their essential work." He said, "Our main goal is to help avoid confrontation between Lebanon and Israel, and any event that brings the conflict closer is a source of concern. We are working around the clock to ensure that does not happen."

Earlier, Israeli media reported that the army had deployed reserve forces in towns along the border with Lebanon. Furthermore, the United States called on its partners today to use their influence over "Hamas," "Hezbollah," and Iran to halt the escalation.
