New Iraqi Aid to Gaza

Iraq sent aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip today, Monday. Air Force C-130 planes loaded with a shipment of medical supplies and 20 tons of cargo took off from the Martyr Muhammad Alaa Air Base to land at Al-Arish Airport in Egypt, under the direction of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, with the follow-up of the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff of the Army, and oversight by a committee for the delivery and receipt of aid for the Palestinian people.

According to the statement, the aid will be delivered under the supervision of the Iraqi Red Crescent to the Egyptian Red Crescent in Al-Arish, which will then be distributed to the Palestinian people. There will be additional shipments of food and medicine, as this air bridge for transporting aid will continue according to al-Sudani's directives. This shipment is the fifth to depart from Iraqi territory to Egyptian territory and "is loaded with medical supplies for our people in Palestine," as stated.
