The Lebanese Army has detained two individuals wanted for various crimes, including shooting at an Internal Security Forces patrol and forming a robbery and theft gang.
According to a statement from the Army Command - Directorate of Guidance: "An army unit raided the homes of wanted individuals in the Ras al-Ain area of Baalbek and arrested a citizen identified as (H.M.), wanted for shooting at an Internal Security Forces patrol, threatening an army soldier with a weapon, and insulting the military institution. Weapons and ammunition were seized in his possession."
The statement further noted: "Another unit detained citizen (A.H.) in the Lilaki-Southern Suburbs area for multiple offenses: forming an armed robbery and theft gang, drug trafficking, impersonating a security officer, opening fire, and causing disturbances."
The Army Command concluded the statement: "The confiscated items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees have commenced under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
