Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned Israel's enemies in a message on the occasion of Ramadan that the country is prepared for any threat. Gallant noted that "Ramadan is an important month in which the Quran was revealed, presenting an opportunity to improve neighborly relations and strengthen family ties." He added, "We know that Ramadan can be a month of jihad, so we say to anyone considering testing us, we are ready, don’t make mistakes." He emphasized that "Israel respects the freedom of worship at the Al-Aqsa (mosque) and all holy sites." Earlier, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir sent a message to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warning of security risks due to the unrestricted entry of Arab citizens of Israel to the Al-Aqsa mosque during Ramadan.
