Iraqi Equestrian Shines with Victory in Jeddah Championship

Iraqi equestrian Zaid Mohammed Al-Najafi achieved first place in the first round of the Grand Prix championship organized by the International Equestrian Federation at the Trio Specialized Club in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al-Najafi noted today, Monday, that "what was achieved today, and all that Iraqi riders have gained in their recent international participations, is attributed to the qualitative leap made by the federation over the past year," praising the efforts of the President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee and the Iraqi Equestrian Federation, Akeel Muftin, for his dedicated support and follow-up on all aspects of the equestrian sport. It is worth mentioning that the championship features the participation of about 150 riders from various countries, including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Spain, France, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, Morocco, Egypt, and Algeria.
