Title: UNIFIL Patrol Intercepted in Barachit, Southern Lebanon

Reports indicate that a number of residents of the town of Barachit intercepted a patrol from the French contingent of UNIFIL while it was entering one of the residential neighborhoods. The information states that the residents vandalized the vehicle's tires and halted its progress. A patrol from the army intelligence arrived and facilitated the evacuation of the patrol and its personnel from the town.
