The presidency held both the Israeli and American governments responsible for the repercussions of this plan. The Palestinian presidency called in a statement for the "United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities, as the occupation's undertaking of this step threatens security and peace in the region and the world, and that it crosses all red lines."
