On Wednesday, the Minister of Justice in the caretaker government, Henry Khoury, met in his office with a delegation from Human Rights Watch to discuss international accountability for the war crimes committed by Israel against Lebanon since October 8. The delegation included the organization's Middle East and North Africa Director, Lama Fakih, and the researcher on Lebanon and the Middle East, Ramzi Qais, with the attendance of Judge Elie Halou. After the meeting, Minister Khoury stated, "We discussed with the organization’s delegation how to review international courts and the legal frameworks that should be relied upon concerning legal proceedings regarding the assaults occurring against Lebanon by Israel at all levels."
