Title: "Progressive Party Supports the Demands of Lebanese Television Employees"

The Media Commission of the "Progressive Socialist Party" expressed that "it is alarming that the employees of Lebanese Television have not benefited from any of the partial measures taken regarding public sector salaries. While these measures may not address the crisis or the expected outcomes, it is completely unacceptable to leave the staff at the official media institution victim to the erosion of their salaries." The statement added: "The Media Commission, while affirming full solidarity with the demands of Lebanese Television employees, calls on the concerned authorities to implement payments for the overdue entitlements since November 2021. It urges the Minister of Media to continue prioritizing the follow-up on the payment files with the relevant ministries and departments as soon as possible, so that Lebanese Television does not join the list of vacancies plaguing state institutions, starting with the presidency."
