Reports indicate that the loud noise heard in Nabatieh was caused by an Israeli drone targeting a house in the town of Houmin al-Takhta near the Imam Sadr health center, with no injuries reported. For the first time since the start of the events, Israel conducted a strike deep within Lebanese territory, targeting a house in Houmin al-Takhta, which is over 40 kilometers from the Lebanese border, north of the Litani River.
The mayor of Houmin al-Takhta, Khader Issa, stated that "the Israeli aggression hit safe residential areas in the town, and the damage was limited to material losses without any injuries among the locals," describing the incident as "brutal and foolish aggression."
Later, Israeli media reported that settlers are concerned about the possibility of an expanded bombing campaign against Israel following the strike on Houmin, and noted that urgent measures need to be taken.
