Today, Thursday, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended his condolences to Corporal Suleiman Saeed Al Shahi from Ras Al Khaimah, who was killed in Somalia. Bin Zayed expressed "his sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyr, praying to Allah to envelop him with His vast mercy and pleasure, and to grant his family patience and solace." Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, also paid their condolences. Al Shahi was a member of the armed forces, killed during an attack in Somalia while performing his duties training and preparing the Somali armed forces.
