The Chancellor of the University of the Emirates, Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, stated that excellence is a symbol of creativity, innovation, and academic distinction, and that education is the first and best investment in the UAE, serving as the key to the future. During a meeting with a group of outstanding students who achieved honors from various colleges, he said: "You are an important generation, as you have come at a difficult time when education standards and outputs have changed. You are now required to achieve high-quality academic outputs and standards of excellence—not just to obtain a degree—especially in light of the rapid evolution of educational technologies. The coming future demands high-quality skills. Students must be fully capable of facing future challenges, particularly since our wise leadership has provided all the necessities and support for our students so they can keep pace with the rapid scientific development by achieving distinguished academic performance and contributing to realizing the vision of (We the UAE 2031)."
