Kremlin Warns of Consequences of Sending Foreign Troops to Ukraine

Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov indicated that "sending foreign troops to Ukraine will have severe negative consequences that may be irreparable." The Kremlin representative noted that "there is currently no precise information regarding France's alleged plans to send troops to the Ukrainian regions bordering Belarus." Peskov added: "We still need to obtain precise information. As far as I know, there is nothing specific on this matter yet. In any case, we have often said that sending some foreign military units to Ukraine is fraught with extremely negative consequences that may be impossible to avoid or remedy."
