**Men's Title for the Lebanese Army and Women's Title for Inter Lebanon**
The Lebanese Athletics Federation continued to implement its activity calendar for 2023 by organizing the General Union Cup for Athletics teams for men and women. The event was held over four days at the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium in Beirut, with the participation of 190 athletes from 13 member clubs. Notable attendees included the Federation President Roland Saadeh, Vice President Nadia Naim, Secretary-General Wassim Al-Houli, Treasurer Maria Kiyourkian, and board members Joseph Sassin, Ayman Al-Shami, and Nadim Aboud, along with the Commander of the High Center for Military Sports, Brigadier General Mikhail Moussa, club presidents and members, as well as a crowd of athletics enthusiasts and families of the athletes.
Athlete Louay Zahrour from Inter Lebanon set a new national record in the women's 3000m steeplechase event, achieving a time of 11:50.17 minutes, breaking her previous record of 11:52.47 minutes.
