Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a visit to the Nevatim Air Base in southern Israel on Wednesday, confirmed that the war will continue until all its objectives are met. Netanyahu stated, "The war will continue until the release of the hostages, the destruction of Hamas, and to ensure that Gaza does not pose a future threat to Israel's security."
At the 116th Squadron, "Lions of the South," which operates the F-35I "Adir," he added: "The war is continuing and it will continue until the end, until we achieve all of its goals."
He further emphasized, "Do not underestimate; we will continue fighting on land, in the air, and at sea until complete victory."
The Israeli Prime Minister had previously stated that the war against Hamas in Gaza could last until 2025. Hebrew media reported that Netanyahu's remarks came during a meeting of members of the war cabinet with local council heads held at the Israeli military's southern command in Beersheba.
According to a report from "Channel 12," Netanyahu revealed the assessment in the context of a discussion where he also approved a review of the current framework of the Ministry of Defense that provides financial assistance to Israelis willing to return to areas from which they were evacuated, located 4 to 7 kilometers from the Gaza border.
