Italian Destroyer Shoots Down Drone in the Red Sea

The Italian Ministry of Defense reported today, Sunday, that an Italian destroyer shot down a drone heading towards it in the Red Sea, where the Houthis are intensifying their attacks on ships in support of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The ministry stated in a statement: "In line with the principle of legitimate self-defense, the destroyer Duilio shot down a drone in the Red Sea. The drone, which matches the specifications of other drones used in previous attacks, was located six kilometers from the Italian ship and was flying towards it."
