New Warning in Oman: Stay Home

"Please stay in your homes, there is a second rainy condition," with these words, the Oman Police Aviation warned the residents of Shinas on Tuesday evening, as the low-pressure system continues to affect the country.

This warning comes as the rainy situation persists in the sultanate, where horrific videos of flash floods sweeping through streets, inundating roads and vehicles, have been shared. New footage has also shown the coastal road in Sohar being affected due to the heavy flow of valleys, causing the asphalt to break into several pieces and turning it into a brown-colored river.

Additionally, Omani emergency services announced the suspension of classes in all governorates except for Dhofar and Al Wusta on Wednesday due to the ongoing rainy conditions in the country.
