Iraqi singer Kadhim Al Sahir held a concert yesterday, Thursday, as part of the first events of the "Amman Festival," taking place at the exhibition grounds on the Queen Alia International Airport road, which will last for two days.
The concert was attended by a large audience estimated at more than six thousand people, with tickets sold out hours before the event.
For two and a half hours, Al Sahir varied his songs performed with his musical band consisting of 55 musicians led by maestro Hassan Falih, opening the concert with his famous song "Aradi Khodoodaha," before presenting a selection of his most popular songs from his extensive repertoire, such as: "Layla," "Madraset Al Hob," "Al Mostabidah," "Ahebini," "Ab'ad Ani," "Ashhad," "Abart Al Shat," and "Ikhtari."
The "Nights of Amman Festival" is considered one of the prominent annual artistic festivals held in the capital, Amman, organized by the company (entertainment 165). The festival enjoys considerable attention from Arab tourists and aims to contribute to promoting tourism in Jordan.
