IRGC Mourns One of Its Members in Sistan and Baluchestan

The Quds Headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Sistan and Baluchestan Province (southeast Iran) announced the "martyrdom of one of its members last night while on the way from Khash to Zahedan (the capital of the province)." In a statement issued by the public relations office of the Quds Headquarters (southeast of the country), as reported by "IRNA," it was mentioned that "Colonel Hossein Ali Jaoudanfar, one of the IRGC members in Sistan and Baluchestan, was targeted in a terrorist shooting incident while returning from his administrative duties on the Khash road to Zahedan, resulting in his martyrdom."

It added that "Colonel Jaoudanfar, an expert in cultural affairs within the IRGC who was performing his duties in following up on certain administrative procedures in Saravan (Sistan and Baluchestan Province), unfortunately fell victim to a cowardly assassination." The statement confirmed that "efforts are ongoing to identify the person or persons who committed this crime."
